Amelia and Jared first crossed paths in 2016 in Towson, Maryland, where Jared was attending college. That weekend, Amelia was visiting friends who also went to Towson and fate stepped in. They met one night at a local bar called Rec Room, and by the end of the evening, Jared made sure Amelia didn’t leave without a goodnight kiss.

Over the next few months, Amelia found herself visiting Towson regularly. Partly to see her friends, but mostly to spend time with Jared. He even invited her to his fraternity's formal with PIKE. Though life eventually pulled them in different directions, Jared would always make an effort to be out and about whenever he heard Amelia was back in town.

Time passed, Jared studied abroad, came home, took the LSATs, and graduated college. They didn’t stay in touch, but as the saying goes, “what’s meant to be will always find its way.” In the fall of 2020, they ran into each other again. This time at Porta, a local spot in Asbury Park and that night, everything changed.

Since then, they've been inseparable.

Sometimes, timing really is everything. It took a few years, a few missed connections, and a lot of growing up, but the universe had a plan all along. Soulmates always find their way back to each other and that’s exactly what happened.
